We believe that Andover Christian Church exists today because God has a purpose and plan for us.
We say it this way:

Our Mission
We want to be a healthy example of the Family of God
The Church is a family: relationships, older, younger, rookies, veterans, extroverts, and introverts. There are challenges in being a family – and we willingly accept them. We do so because of the treasure to be found in a loving church family: love, encouragement, acceptance, worth, forgiveness, patience, learning, growing, forgiveness, and just plain FUN!
This is our commitment: to be a church family that has God as our Father and Jesus as our Leader or “Head.” We will live and treat each other as Christ would do – for we are His people, His physical presence here on earth.
So we can help people become models of Jesus
In families, we expect people to grow up, they become adults, they mature. Church families should expect the same results – and at ACC we do!
We are here to help everyone “grow up” spiritually. This happens by following Jesus, learning from Him, studying the Bible, and learning from other believers. In maturing as Disciples of Jesus, we will come more and more to think and act like Him. This “Christlikeness” is our goal for ever person who is part of this “family!”
Then we can impact our Community
Jesus came to earth to invite all God’s Children to come home to their Heavenly Father. He died for our sins so this could happen. That mission which He began, is now ours to continue. We take that mission seriously.
The method Jesus used to accomplish this mission was love. Whether you were blind, lame, diseased, rejected, hated, destitute, or a sinner – Jesus was willing to help you. People thronged to Jesus because no one had ever loved them in the unconditional way Jesus had loved them.
That method needs to remain our method today. Our community is full of people with all kinds of needs. We are committed to involvement in ministries that cause people today to say, “No one ever loved us like this!”
And we can impact the World
God’s love is a lot bigger than our community or the people we know. Jesus came to invite the whole world to come home to their Heavenly Father. We are committed to continuing that global mission.
To that end, we actively support missionaries around the globe. We also organize regular mission trips for our adults and our teens. We also help other congregations and ministries here in the U.S.
