The Community Impact Ministry at Andover Christian Church exists to connect our church family with real needs in our local community. Through trusted partnerships with nonprofits, we build relationships, offer support, and activate volunteers to respond with the love of Christ.  We offer volunteer opportunities for individuals, small groups, and families.

  • ACBC Food Shelf

    ACBC Food Shelf exists to provide food, clothing and essential resources to Anoka County residents in need.  With dignity and compassion we offer hope and support, working alongside individuals and families to not only meet immediate needs but also help build a brighter, more secure future.  To volunteer for this ministry, contact Julie Faraone at office@andoverchurch.com

  • Anoka / Hennepin Schools & Sports Programs

    Anoka-Hennepin Schools have needs in our community that ACC seeks to support by providing supplies, volunteering time, coaching, and fundraising so every student has the resources and opportunities to learn, grow and succeed.  To volunteer for this ministry, contact Rhonda Jensen at office@andoverchurch.com

  • elevate hope house

    Elevate Hope House is a Christian nonprofit that provides housing, life skills, and Christ-centered support for young, single moms and their children.  Through mentoring, community and practical resources, Elevate Hope House empowers families to rise from crisis, pursue self-sufficiency, and rediscover their God-given worth and purpose in our community.  To volunteer for this ministry, contact Wendy Thorson at office@andoverchurch.com

  • feed my starving children

    Feed My Starving Children is a Christian nonprofit called to feed God’s hungry children in body and spirit. "We reach the least and hardest-to-reach, working with ministries and organizations worldwide. With God’s help, we strive to end hunger so that all may be fed and know His love."  As a church family at ACC, we try to schedule 3-4 packing opportunities per year.  Individuals are encouraged to volunteer at any time.  To volunteer for this ministry, contact Rhonda Jensen at office@andoverchurch.com

    HOPE 4 Youth provides pathways to end youth homelessness, ensuring all young people feel safe, valued, and supported.   • lex specialty clinics for Pregnancy & sexual health

    LEX Specialty Clinic is a Christ-centered ministry serving women, men, and families in our community. We share Christ’s love by offering free limited pregnancy-related medical services, parenting

  • Minnesota Adult & teen challenge

    Minnesota Adult & Teen Challenge restores hope to those battling addictions.
